Where we Work
Tibet
We work side by side with community-based organizations to implement culturally sensitives initiatives. Our objective is to promote the wellbeing of the communities we serve and in parallel to empower local organizations to advance their autonomy by providing leadership development and mentorship.
Myanmar
Terma Foundation made its first forays into Myanmar in 2000, with child vitamins and medicines distribution in charity clinics, orphanages and local groups Terma Belgium develops and implements health, nutrition and hygiene education programs for children and teams up with local and foreign groups to set up an environmental awareness and waste collection program in the Region of Sagaing.
Tibet
Continuing the extensive work of Terma Foundation in tuberculosis, nutrition and health education in ethnic Tibetan areas in China, Terma Belgium works with grassroots groups to implement health and nutrition education in schools and communities, and primary health care.
Mexico
Terma Belgium is an integral part of Fundación Astra’s work. Fundación Astra, the Mexico registered charity of Terma Foundation, offers medical, nutritional, psychological, and dental services through its community health clinic in La Paz, and in marginalized communities of Baja California Sur.
